After a two year Covid induced hiatus, we are very excited to announce Winter Wine Weekend is back 11-13 June 2022.
The Mornington Peninsula’s Winter Wine Weekend is a firm circle on calendars around town. Pull on your jumper and boots to celebrate mid-winter with our wineries offering food here, wine by the bottle there and the countryside its usual beauty to explore.
This annual three-day celebration has been held during the Queen’s Birthday long weekend in June since the 1980s.
Saturday 11 June – Winter Wine Fest
The weekend opens with a showcase exhibition and tasting on Saturday 11 June from 11am to 4pm in the Pavilions at Red Hill Showgrounds. This is a rare opportunity to experience 40 Mornington Peninsula wineries exhibiting over 150 premium wines in one place at one time, highlighting the incredible diversity in wines resulting from the climate and terroir unique to the region.
