2017 Mantons Creek Pinot Gris
This wine is classic Alsatian style: soft, unctuous, full of pear flavours with aromas of blossoms and honey. Given the cool site, it still retains fabulous length and balance. The grapes were whole bunch pressed and barrel fermented to ensure a silky even texture. A short maturation then leads to a wine that is very fresh but will age well.
2017 Mantons Creek Chardonnay
This is our most concentrated and full bodied white wine and is the perfect illustration of how well suited Chardonnay is to our cool, slow ripening location. The nose has citrus and tropical fruits along with spicy notes from the oak. In this case, whole bunch pressing and wild fermentation in a combination of new and old French oak barrels adds to the character and complexity of the wine. Nine months maturation prior to bottling has led to full integration of these flavours. This wine will age very gracefully for those with the patience to wait!
2016 Mantons Creek Maggie’s Paddock
A unique blend of estate grown white varietals, Maggie’s Paddock comprises 62% Pinot Grigio and 38% Gewurztraminer. Gentle whole-bunch pressing with a long settling to achieve juice clarity was followed by an extremely cool and slow ferment in stainless steel tank. The wine has sweet aromas of rosewater, lychee and ruby red grapefruit with a musk stick candy finish but is bone-dry on the pallet.

Fragrances of delicate rose and strawberry complement a balanced palate of raspberry and cranberry, delivering crisp acidity.
2017 Mantons Creek Pinot Noir
From our Hill Block, this Pinot has a fragrant perfume reminiscent of fruits of the forest. Minimally fined, it is silky and long and will develop in the bottle for well over a decade. This is the iconic wine of this cool climate region.
2016 Mantons Creek Pinot Noir Blend
A most luscious blend of Pinot Noir with Pinot Meunier aged in French barriques for 10 months. Artfully blended, the MV6 clone with red cherry, currant, spice and loads of super-fine tannin is juxtaposed with the D5V12 clone offering plum black cherry and stalky spice notes and broader tannin.
